When evidence indicates, a law enforcement officer believes their service and sacrifices entitles them to be above the law. At the same time, evidence indicates they execute actions to protect themselves from being held accountable for their historical conduct while arresting others based on evidence of their activities.
A badge does not validate an officer’s representation of the laws of a republic. It only shows evidence of the people’s trust in them to protect and serve.
